I am a CG follower but unlike CG I do not always co-wash (using conditioner instead of shampoo to clean hair) my hair. I use a sulfate free shampoo every fourth day to wash my hair. Here I will try to show you how I apply shampoo and conditioner so my tangling is minimized. Don’t forget to like the video if you find it useful 🙂
Thank you for your valuable suggestions. I am using a patanjali conditioner.. And some home made leave in conditioner.. Coconut oil etc! I am following your method from last 2-3 weeks. But now.. All those products effect my face! I get acne.. Pimples.. Itching etc skin problems. Does those products effect our hair and body?! But my hair looks the way I wanted it to seem!
Preethi, how do you make your leave-in conditioner? Please make sure to keep it in refrigerator so that it does not go bad and discard it after a few days. Rest of products looks fine to me. If your skin is oily then you might get acne due to coconut oil as well. Try to use the oily only for a few hours.
Hi,
I’ve used rainforest shampoo and conditioner for my curly hair, but yet it is very frizzy. I’ve also tried Khadi conditioner, but in vain 🙁
How do I prevent the frizziness? I wish my hair to be like when it is all wet the way it is :/
Any suggestions?
Sheetal, with curly hair you can not get rid of frizzyness completely but you can minimize it. You can try the LOC method to reduce the frizz and also use a styling gel like flax seed gel or the latest DIY curl cream recipe or any any products that provide hold to curls to better define the curls with minimum frizz. Use a leave in conditioner after the shower as hair will be less frizzy when you keep it moisturized.
Hi there….how often should one shampoo and co wash…
Arleen, it completely depends on you. If you sweat more and exercise then you have to wash more often. If you live in cold place then less. Try to use shampoo every 2-3rd wash if you cowash in between. And when you cowash just make sure you can cleaning the scalp properly.
